The house, which once belonged to poet Ted Hughes, is an 18th century mill owner’s house standing in 20 acres of woodland. It is intended as a place of retreat, with no television, radio or internet access.

Courses run from Mondays to Saturdays. Centre directors are Liz Flanagan and Rebecca Evans. Centre assistant is Rachel Connor.
