Pennine Spring Music Festival for 2012

The Pennine Spring Music Festival for 2012 will run from Monday 4th June to Saturday 9th June.

All concerts will be held in the Parish Church.

Tuesday 5 June

Concert 1: Orchestra and Chorus Rossini: Overture: The Barber of Seville Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto. Soloist: Martyn Jackson Mendelssohn: Hear my Prayer Beethoven: Symphony no 7

Thursday 7 June

Concert 2: Chamber Concert.

Strings: Puccini: Crisantemi Rossini: String Sonata no 1 Wind Donizetti: Sinfonia for Winds Dvorak arr. Kay: Ledgends Op 59 (selections) Choir Gastoldi: Viver lieto volgio Trad. arr. Copeland: Ching-a-Ring Chaw Halley: The Lover’s Arithmetic Thompson: Choose something like a Star Solos20 minutes maximum available for solo items (to be confirmed in advance)

Saturday 9th June

Concert 3: Orchestra and Chorus Mozart: Overtue: The Magic Flute Schubert: Unfinished Symphony Mozart: Requiem
Tickets:£8, (£5 concessions), £1 (under-16) to all evening concerts.

All tickets available on the door, or bookable in advance at Hebden Bridge or Todmorden Tourist Information Offices.
