As a trainee chef, Iain worked under Raymond Blanc, who helped him hone his passion for blending taste, texture and flavours.

Once qualified Iain went on to work alongside Gordon Ramsey, who further helped him in developing his passion for food (along with a few lessons in advanced use of colourful language!).

It was with great pride when he agreed to come to the Heptonstall Sports and Social Club and belt out a stunning 5 course meal for 50 delighted guests.

Funds raised were to go towards dog charities, with Ian’s Charity receiving £160.00. PAWS received £250.00 and the Bowling Club took receipt of £400, which will be used towards converting one of the toilets for wheelchair users.

Iain and his beautiful Fiancé Sinead, have fallen in love with the people and the place, will be coming back for their honeymoon next April, and have promised to put on a big bash for us once a year from here on in!

A big big thank you, to all the wonderful volunteers who made the night go so well.
